Durdle Door

from £25.00

This picture is of Durdle Door, Taken at sunset on 20-Mar-24. I started the day with very low expectations, the light was completely flat, I waited (for a long time) to see if sunset would provide any light, ultimately I was rewarded, this sunset light lasted for minutes before it was gone! A little history, Durdle Door is a stone arch on the Jurassic coast of Dorset in the UK. It was formed when the sea eroded the limestone rock about 10,000 years ago creating a natural doorway. The name 'Durdle' comes from an old English word meaning 'to bore or drill'. Hope you like my rendition!
